Most of us spend our lives responding to symptoms without ever seeing the patterns beneath them.

The Mirror Map is a simple reflection of where our time, attention, and energy go throughout the week.

This isn’t a test — it’s a mirror.

There is nothing to fix.
Nothing to perform.
Nothing to get right.

We’re simply looking at what is.

Because when we can see clearly, we can choose differently. Repair begins where awareness is.

About seven minutes.
Before we look

Take a breath.

What brought us here today? What were we hoping the Map might show us?

Sit with it for a moment. There's no right answer — our own honesty is the whole point. If we want to write it down, we can. If not, just notice it and continue.

Optional. We can leave it blank.
Before we start

You have 168 hours a week.

That's all of us. Same number. The question isn't how many hours we have — it's where they go.

Every hour of our week lives in one of four quadrants.

Body active Body still
Mind active Mind quiet
Drive
Body & mind both working — training, focused effort
Drain
Mind on, body still — stress, worry, screens
Flow
Body moving, mind easy — walks, chores
Restore
Both at rest — sleep, real recovery

In a few minutes, we'll see how our 168 hours actually break down — and what that shape says about the week we're living.

A little context

What does our work life look like right now?

Pick the closest. I'll use it to skip the boring questions.

One more about that

Be honest

Right now, our week feels mostly like…

The one that lands first is usually the right one.

One quick number

Roughly how much time do we spend on screens each day?

All of it — work, school, phone, TV. Best guess is fine.

No judgment — screens are part of the world we live in. I'm just looking at where the hours go.
The week

Now walk me through a typical day.

Four quick stops — morning, our workday, evening, and sleep. For each one, we'll just say how it usually leaves us, on a scale of 1 to 5.

No need to be exact. Aim for the real, not the right. Most weeks are messier than we admit.

Morning

Your typical morning.

From the moment we wake up until we start work (or whatever our day demands).

How does this part of our day usually leave us?

1 · drained5 · restored
Workday

Your typical workday.

Whatever we actually do during the day — paid work, caregiving, school, whatever fills the bulk of the hours.

How does this part of our day usually leave us?

1 · drained5 · restored
Evening

Your typical evening.

After work, until we go to bed.

How does this part of our day usually leave us?

1 · drained5 · restored
Sleep

How are we sleeping these days?

A rough average is fine.

One more thing

Is our weekend mostly the same as our weekday — or pretty different?

Just a gut read.

Three quick gut-checks

How does our body feel when we stop and notice?

Strength, energy, sleep, pain — the way the body actually is, not how we wish it was. A lot of us are more tired than we realize.

1 · depleted5 · thriving
Three quick gut-checks

The noise level in our head lately.

Focus, clarity, mood — how steady (or not) it's been.

1 · scattered5 · sharp
Three quick gut-checks

How connected do we feel right now?

With ourselves, with the people around us, with anything bigger than us.

1 · disconnected5 · connected
The rest

Which one rings most true?

Don't overthink. The one that lands first is usually the right one.

The rest

What's the residue we're trying to clear?

Pick the one that feels loudest right now.

The rest

Which of these describes how we've been feeling lately?

Pick the one that lingers most.

The rest

Lately, how do we feel in our relationships?

The honest one.

The rest

If we could change one thing about our week, it would be…

Don't overthink. The one that lands first is usually the right one.

One last thing

What the shape is saying

How we got the rating

Every hour of our week counts a little differently, based on what that kind of hour actually does to a body over time:

  • Restore hours × 1.00 — fully refill us
  • Flow hours × 0.75 — move us without depleting us
  • Drive hours × 0.25 — productive, but expensive to run on
  • Drain hours × 0.15 — barely net-positive; costs more than it gives

Our week, in our numbers:

100% is a week that holds us steady — energy going out and coming back in are close to meeting. Below that, the week is asking more than it’s giving. Above that, plenty of rest but not much asking. The rating is a description of the week, not a grade on us.

What this pattern looks like

What the data is saying

Things that often show up here

Not a diagnosis. Just the kinds of things that tend to show up when a week looks like ours.

        One practice this week

Is there a part of us that's been wanting to come back to life?

We don't have to name it. Just notice that it's there.

        Two doors from here

        Door 1 · Discovery Call.Free
A free 30-minute 1:1 call. If you want to take a deeper dive into your Mirror Map result — what the patterns are pointing at, what you'd want to change, whether working together would help — this is the conversation.

No pressure to commit to anything on the call. It's a chance to be heard, ask questions, and see if there's a fit.

If we do decide to work together afterward, that looks like:
        · Weekly accountability — someone who notices when you show up and when you don't
        · A custom 90-day cycle built around your nervous system and your week
        · A practice that becomes your own — something you'll truly know, built to last a lifetime and carry into any season

        Book a Discovery Call ↗
        Door 2 · Keep Noticing.
Keep building this awareness on our own. With enough noticing we can bring ourselves back into balance — we have the power to release the limitations that hold us back, so we can play in the peace of our potential.

Keep noticing where we place our time, our attention, and our energy. That noticing is the practice. It is the practice that builds our awareness. Within this awareness — we are finally in the present moment so we can see things clearly for what they are, and what they are not.

I'll send you a weekly Mirror Movement email to help you keep noticing, so you can keep coming back to it on your own.
